TOUGH TIMES: Down on her luck Rosie O’Donnell resorts to selling anti-Trump t-shirts on Etsy

NEW YORK, N.Y. — Former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell, who at one time ranked as one of the highest paid entertainers in the industry, has resorted to selling anti-Trump t-shirts online in the wake of a highly publicized career downfall.

O’Donnell, who once basked in the spotlight as host of her own television show, announced this week that going forward, she will be “expressing” her “rage and disappointment” by selling t-shirts on the internet.

“Til trump is out I will keep making these. I started doodling on my I phone many images of trump and his regime. My sadness rage disappointment will now be expressed with these pieces,” O’Donnell wrote in the description section for the online store (https://tinyurl.com/y94zqc5d).

O’Donnell’s career has steadily declined since ‘Rosie’, the daytime talk show baring her name, was canceled in 2002. Several attempts as co-host on ABC’s daytime talk show ‘The View’ also ended in failure after on-air clashes with her fellow hosts led to calls for her firing amid negative viewer response.

In 2011, Oprah Winfrey gave O’Donnell a third shot at hosting her own show, but the program was canceled due to poor ratings.

Since then, O’Donnell, who has been open about her struggle with mental health issues, has focused her concentrations on promoting leftist causes.

The ongoing feud between O’Donnell and President Trump, who she spoke out against repeatedly during the 2016 campaign, initially began in 2006 when O’Donnell, during an appearance on ‘The View’ called Trump a “snake oil salesman”.

O’Donnell announced her new online store to her Twitter followers on Wednesday.

“Get em while they last,” she tweeted.

The first shirt posted by O’Donnell, features a caricature of Trump with the words, “Rapist, Cheat, Liar, Racist, Con Man, A–hole.”

ROSIE’S RAGE: O’ Donnell goes on Christmas rant; Tells Paul Ryan he’s going ‘straight to hell’ over tax cuts

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In a rambling Twitter rant on Christmas Day liberal comedian Rosie O’Donnell attacked Paul Ryan, telling the House speaker he’ll “go straight to hell” for leading the passage of a GOP tax cut bill that will likely save middle-class families thousands of dollars in annual taxes.

“Paul Ryan – don’t talk about Jesus after what u just did to our nation – u will go straight to hell,” O’Donnell tweeted on Monday in response to a Christmas message tweeted out by Ryan in which he mentioned the birth of Jesus Christ.

“U screwed up fake altar boy,” O’Donnell added before ending her rant with,”#JudasMuch?” referencing the Bible’s Judas, who betrayed Jesus Christ before Jesus’ crucifixion.

O’Donnell’s latest rant follows one last week where she openly tried to bribe sitting members of Congress to vote against the president’s tax reform bill, offering Sens. Jeff Flake and Susan Collins $2 million each if they voted against it.

Under 18 U.S. Code § 201, (https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/201#) bribing a member of Congress is classified as a federal crime. The statute prohibits anyone from “corruptly” offering “anything of value to any public official” with the intent to influence the official or an official act.

O’Donnell claims that her offer to pay Flake and Collins was in jest, but the offer led to multiple calls for her arrest and prosecution. It is not yet known what, if any, action will be taken against O’Donnell based on her apparent bribe attempt, but if convicted, she could face up to 15 years in prison.

Meanwhile, taking the high ground, a rep for Ryan responded only by saying: “We wish everyone a Merry Christmas!” when asked to comment on O’Donnell’s tirade.
