‘OUTRAGED’: Prosecutor drops charges in Jussie Smollett angering Chicago mayor and police chief

CHICAGO — Prosecutors in Chicago announced Tuesday that all charges against “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett would be dropped, sparking outrage from city officials and social media alike.

Smollett, 36, who had told police on January 29 that he was assaulted by two masked men as they shouted racial slurs and praised president Donald Trump was later charged with falsely reporting a hate crime and staging the attack himself.

“After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the city of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case,” the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office said in a statement.

City Mayor Rahm Emanuel at a press conference shortly after the decision was announced could hardly contain his rage.

“From top to bottom this is not on the level,” Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in response to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s decision to drop the charges against Smollett. “At the end of the day, it’s Mr. Smollett that committed this false claim.”

“This is a whitewash of justice,” said Emanuel. “Is there no decency in this man?”

Meanwhile, Breitbart reported Tuesday that left-wing billionaire mega-donor George Soros had donated $408,000 in 2016 to a super PAC that supported Foxx, whose office prosecuted — and dropped — the Jussie Smollett case.

“You have a person using hate crime laws that are on the books to protect people who are minorities from violence, to then turn around and use those laws to advance your career and your financial reward?” Emanuel ranted. “Where is the accountability in the system? You cannot have, because of a person’s position, one set of rules apply to them and another set of rules applying to everybody else.”

Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson too spoke out against the decision, saying the department was “blindsided” by the DA’s decision to drop all charges.

“I think this city is still owed an apology,” said Johnson. “At the end of the day it’s Mr. Smollett who committed this hoax.”

TRUMP: Liberal media ‘true enemy of the people’

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Monday started his week by taking a swing at the liberal mainstream media, which he referred to as “the true enemy of the people”.

Responding to allegations by various left-wing news outlets that his outspoken criticism of the left may have fueled the actions of a suspect arrested for sending various bombing devices to high profile Democrats, the president blasted unspecified members of the press as “fake news”.

“There is great anger in our Country caused in part by inaccurate, and even fraudulent, reporting of the news,” the president tweeted. “The Fake News Media, the true Enemy of the People, must stop the open & obvious hostility & report the news accurately & fairly. That will do much to put out the flame.”

Cesar Sayoc, was arrested last week and charged with sending a total of thirteen mail bombs to news outlet CNN, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, George Soros and others who have been highly critical of Trump and of his administration.

If convicted, he faces up to 48 years in prison.

CLOSING IN: Package bombs contain ‘treasure trove’ of evidence, say officials

WASHINGTON – Investigators working around the clock to identify the culprit behind a series of package bombs sent to an array of high-profile Democrats this week say the devices themselves contain a ‘treasure trove’ of evidence that they’re certain will lead them their sender.

“There’s DNA that can be recovered from the device,” Ryan Morris, founder of Tripwire Operation Group, a company that provides explosives training to law enforcement and military officials, told Fox News Thursday.

“If there is a human involved, there is a high probability you’re going to get somewhere investigative,” Larry Johnson, a former head of criminal investigations for the U.S. Secret Service told The Associated Press. “There will be no stone left unturned.”

James Fitzgerald, a retired FBI profiler and forensic linguist who, in 1996, helped catch “Unabomber” Ted Kaczynski, agrees.

“The linguist in me noticed that Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the last name is spelled missing a ‘c’ and John Brennan’s name is spelled missing an ‘n’ and that kind of surprised me and I have a feeling that was done on purpose to make this look like somebody who doesn’t really know who these people are and that it wasn’t an honest mistake. If he had this much anger and vitriol against these people, you would think he would know how to spell their names,” Fitzgerald told Fox News.

Fitzgerald also added that additional evidence may present itself to lend clues to the would-be bomber’s identity.

“There may be some sort of a letter or social media aspect or videotape, or something equivalent to that comes in the mail, a DVD or whatever that claims responsibility for this, but we’re too early, this person had a point they had to make with these devices and quite frankly they’ve made it.”

Fran Townsend, former Homeland Security Advisor in the George W Bush administration, told CBS News on Thursday that the bombs were “not a standard recipe”.

“He didn’t go on the internet and just pull down the standard Al Qaeda recipe which we’ve seen before, so he’s left his own signature, there’s something unique about the way this has been put together which will be very helpful for investigators,” said Thompson, who added that the suspect’s sloppiness will certainly play into law enforcement’s hands.

“This is somebody who has made plenty of mistakes – the wrong address to Eric Holder, misspelling John Brennan’s name, John Brennan doesn’t work at CNN, he works at NBC, so this is somebody who has made plenty of mistakes along the way. All the outside packages are identical – six stamps, two tiers, printed labels. This is somebody who has likely left a lot of clues.”

Packages containing explosive devices were sent this week to the homes and offices of former presidents Barack Obama and Bill and Hillary Clinton, Democratic Senator Debbie Wasserman- Schultz, billionaire business tycoon George Soros and former Vice President Joe Biden.

Fortunately, none of the devices received exploded and no one was hurt in either instance.

THE PARTY OF ‘TOLERANCE’: Soros funded Dem operative arrested for ‘battery’ against GOP campaign manager

Las Vegas — A Democratic operative for a group funded by billionaire business tycoon George Soros was arrested in Las Vegas on Tuesday and charged with battering a GOP campaign manager.

According to police reports, Wilfred Michael Stark III, 50, was arrested by Las Vegas City Marshals after he allegedly forcefully grabbed the arm of Kristin Davison, a female campaign manager for Nevada GOP gubernatorial nominee Adam Laxalt and assaulted her.

“He was arrested by our city marshals last night about 7 p.m. after Kristin Davison contacted them saying Mr. Stark had grabbed her by the arm and pushed her. The arrest is classified as a citizen’s arrest because the incident did not happen in the presence of the marshals,” the Marshal’s office said in a statement. The office said the incident was “an apparent result of an altercation involving Mr. Stark entering one of the rooms … and attempting to question Attorney General Adam Laxalt.”

Davison says the assault left her “terrified and traumatized” and with bruises on her neck and arms.

“Politics is a little bit aggressive these days, but this is just insane. I’ve never seen anything like it,” Davison, 31, told Fox News on Wednesday.

“We’re used to trackers, but this guy was very physical—pushing me, pushing into members of my staff, screaming,” Davison added. “This man was physically, almost body-checking me. I was getting nervous for my safety, so we left, and went into an open room.”

Davison told Fox News when she, Laxalt and two other male staffers went into the private room and closed the door, only to have it “burst open” moments later.

“Two male staffers were trying to hold him back. He was so aggressive, he looked like he was going to towards the candidate to physically harm him,” Davison said. “He grabbed my right arm, my leg was lodged between the door and the wall. He twisted my arm, and contorted it behind my back. I was scared. Every time I tried pulling away, he would grab tighter, and pull me closer into him.”

Stark was arrested on a similar charge earlier this year after police say he attacked the female press secretary for Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke.

He currently remains in custody at the Las Vegas city jail.

REPORT: Soros preparing to fight Trump SCOTUS pick, Brett Kavanaugh

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Sputnik) — A political advocacy group founded in early 2018 seeks to stop the confirmation of US President Donald Trump’s pick for Supreme Court Justice, Brett Kavanaugh, to replace outgoing Justice Anthony Kennedy.

Demand Justice has committed to spending $5 million to fight the confirmation of Kavanaugh and aims to raise $10 million in 2018, according to a New York Times article featuring an interview with Brian Fallon, the group’s executive director.

Brian Fallon, Demand Justice’s executive director, was once a spokesperson for Hillary Clinton, worked under Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on Capitol Hill and spoke in 2018 at a conference held by Democracy Alliance, a fundraising group to which Soros belongs.

Demand Justice’s chief counsel is Christopher Kang, a longtime aid to former president Barack Obama.

Because of its structure, it is impossible to determine how much money from Soros the organization has received.

The group plans to run advertisements to help Democrats in the midterm election and push back on those who stray from the party line in key states, as well as asking lawmakers to oppose the nominations of judges that would overturn US abortion laws.

Demand Justice is financed heavily by satellite organizations, which are in turn funded by liberal financier George Soros. Demand Justice is financed and organized by the Sixteen Thirty Fund, which receives a huge amount of money from Soros.

Demand Justice was registered with the DC Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs by the Sixteen Thirty Fund on May 2.

Demand Justice is exempt from filing tax returns because it’s “fiscally sponsored” by a tax-exempt social welfare organization: the Sixteen Thirty Fund. Both groups share one address. Social welfare organizations do not have to disclose who their donors are and are allowed to participate in political activity as long as said activity constitutes less than half of the organization’s operations.

The Sixteen Thirty Fund’s mission is to “provide education and build a base of grassroots activism and a national movement to demand the advancement of a new agenda on a broad range of issues,” according to a 2014 financial statement by the organization. It bills itself as a “grassroots” organization despite the fact that it receives 70 percent of its funding from just three donors.

One of them is the Open Society Policy Center, a funding arm of Soros’ operations, which gave the Sixteen Thirty Fund some $2.27 million between 2012 and 2016, according to its tax forms.

In its summary of lobbying activities for the first quarter of 2017, the Open Society Policy Center (OSPC) confirmed it had provided the Sixteen Thirty Fund with $250,000 for that period.

This establishes a link and working relationship between Soros’ OSPC and the fund, but as the OSPC’s summary filings for this quarter (Q3 2018) are yet to be published, it’s impossible to determine exactly how much Soros has donated to the group to fight the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh to the US Supreme Court.

Contrary to the oft-repeated line that Soros “pays protesters,” his organizations’ methods of operation for funding liberal activism rather include funneling money from organization to organization in ways that are difficult to discern, with cash eventually falling into the hands of one that galvanizes the masses to action with liberal messaging.

This is just the latest political campaigning group to receive funding from Soros, with the globalist billionaire donating large sums of cash to a pro-EU group aiming to stop Brexit earlier this year, and backing countless pro-immigration organizations via the Open Society Foundation.

His donations have proved controversial, especially in Hungary, with Budapest claiming that Soros attempted to meddle in the country’s recent parliamentary elections to remove the Eurosceptic Fidesz Party from power, and replace them with more amenable politicians, to serve his interests.

Last month, the Hungarian government successfully passed its so-called “Stop Soros Act,” limiting the ability of pro-migrant NGOs to operate in the country.

DAVID CLARKE: Gun control rally by Florida students has George Soros’ fingerprints ‘all over it’

TALLAHASSEE, FL — A gun control rally held Wednesday by students of Parkland High School has billionaire leftist George Soros’s fingerprints “all over it” says former Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke.

Soros, a Hungarian-American investor, is known for funding a variety of leftist causes including the push for legalized recreational marijuana and the Black Lives Matter movement.

In a tweet posted to his official Twitter account, the former Wisconsin sheriff wrote that the rally demanding gun reform held by students of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School was an attempt by Soros to manipulate teens still reeling from a mass shooting at their school.

“The well ORGANIZED effort by Florida school students demanding gun control has GEORGE SOROS’ FINGERPRINTS all over it,” Clarke tweeted Wednesday (https://tinyurl.com/yaklzv8b). “It is similar to how he hijacked and exploited black people’s emotion regarding police use of force incidents into the COP HATING Black Lives Matter movement.”

Clarke’s tweet follows allegations made by an aide to a Florida state lawmaker who was fired after alleging that several of the teens interviewed on media recently weren’t actual victims but crisis actors.

“Both kids in the picture are not students here but actors that travel to various crisis when they happen,” Benjamin Kelly, an aide to state Rep. Shawn Harrison (R) wrote in an email to a reporter.

Harrison’s comments were met with swift condemnation and he was quickly fired (https://tinyurl.com/y9dtubl6).

Seventeen people were reported to have been killed at Parkland High School last week when police say a gunman opened fire with an AR-15. The shooting led to calls for stronger gun control measures and increased background checks.

Clarke, who resigned his role as Sheriff in 2017, now serves as senior adviser and spokesman for the pro-Trump America First Action PAC.

EXPOSED: Violent anti-Trump ‘resistance’ group donors revealed. Big names such as Kelloggs, Ford among them

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Companies behind the funding of the leftist groups waging an all-out war against President Donald Trump have been revealed courtesy unredacted tax forms and some of the names on the list are, to say the least, shocking.

According to records obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, The Center for Community Change, a Washington, D.C.-based 501 (c)(3) progressive community organizing group, has been engaged in anti-Trump protests and related activities since early 2016. The group, who’s leaders sit on the board of several other left-leaning extremist organizations, received a $3,000,000 donation from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, better known as The Kellogg Company. The records show the organization also received a donation in the amount of $2,350,000, courtesy the Ford Motor Company and $1,750,000 from billionaire George Soros, who has been credited with organizing riots and protests throughout the nation.

Other donors to the organization include the California Endowment, which gave $524,500; the Marquerite Casey Foundation, which donated $515,000; Fidelity Charitable Gift, which gave $505,100; and the National Immigration Law Center, which donated $316,000 (https://www.scribd.com/document/360602355/Center-for-Community-Change-2015-Donors?irgwc=1&content=27795&campaign=VigLink&ad_group=1726779&keyword=ft500noi&source=impactradius&medium=affiliate#from_embed).

In addition to Soros, another notable person of interest uncovered in the report is that of Charlene Sinclair, who serves as the director of reinvestment at the Center for Community Change. In addition to her role at CFCC, Sinclair sits on the board of a group called The Emergent Fund, which has donated tens of thousands to the violent Black Lives Matter movement.

TRUMP TAKES ON SOROS: REPUBLICANS TAP TILLERSON TO INVESTIGATE SHADOWY BILLIONAIRE’S LEFTIST GROUPS

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The man behind such powerful groups as Black Lives Matter and the push to legalize recreational marijuana has been deemed by some as unstoppable…until now. According to a letter sent to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Republicans have decided it’s time to take billionaire leftist George Soros down.

The letter (https://www.scribd.com/document/341866712/Lee-Inhofe-Letter-to-Secretary-Tillerson#from_embed), which was sent to Tillerson late Tuesday, asks president Trump’s Secretary of State to investigate claims that U.S. taxpayer money is being used to back Soros’ left-wing agenda. In particular interest to Republicans are reports that U.S. funds are being used by agencies such as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to back left-wing political groups in other nations.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Sen. Mike Lee, (R)-Utah, one of the letter’s co-signers, said high ranking foreign officials and political leaders have come forth with “reports of U.S. activity in their respective countries.”

“This includes reports of diplomats playing political favorites, USAID funds supporting extreme and sometimes violent political activists, and the US Government working to marginalize the moderates and conservatives in leadership roles,” Lee said in the statement. “This sort of political favoritism from our missions around the world is unacceptable.”

A citizen’s effort calling themselves “Stop Operation Soros” has also published a white paper that alleges U.S. money has been used to fund violent protests and publishing of Saul Alinsky’s far-left guide “Rules for Radicals.”

“Respected leaders from Albania have made similar claims of U.S. diplomats and Soros-backed organizations pushing for certain political outcomes in their country,” the letter, which was co-signed by Sens. James Inhofe, (R)-Okla.; Thom Tillis, (R)-N.C.; David Perdue, (R)-Ga.; Ted Cruz, (R)-Texas; and Bill Cassidy, (R)-La, went on, “citing a FOSM-backed push for Albanian judicial reform, which opponents say are aimed to give the socialist government full control over the country’s judiciary.

“The destabilizing effects of such actions in a NATO country are clear and the threat for further escalation eminent as Albania anticipates parliamentary elections later this year,” the letter said.

The senators went on to express their concerns about reports coming in from countries inside Africa and Latin America.

“We respectfully ask that you use your authority to investigate all funds associated with promoting democracy and governance and review the programs, accounts, and multiplicity of U.S. entities involved in such activities,” the letter said.

Conservative Prime Minister Viktor Orban of Hungary also expressed concern last month about Soros’ “trans-border empire,” and said both Hungar and America dodged a bullet in regard to Soros’ relationship with former democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

“I think it is no secret and everyone knows about the very close relationship between the Democrats and George Soros and his foundations. It is obvious that if Hillary Clinton had won then this pressure on us would be much stronger. With Donald Trump winning we have the hope that this pressure will be decreased on us,” he said.

FEMINISM FOR SALE: BILLIONAIRE GEORGE SOROS BEHIND TODAY’S ‘DAY WITHOUT A WOMAN’ PROTESTS

Billionaire leftist George Soros was the man who made Wednesday’s “Day Without A Woman” protests possible nationwide, according to a report by Media Research Center, a conservative watch group.

Soros, who infamously funded the “Black Lives Matter” movement and the move to legalize recreational marijuana, reportedly organized the protests in an effort to criticize president Donald Trump.

As a result of the protests, schools in at least four states canceled classes as teachers and staff members refused to show up for work.

According to the Research Center’s report, of the protest’s 544 partners, 100 groups received funds from Soros that totaled $246 million. Planned Parenthood and the Center for American Progress received a majority of these funds although other organizations such as People for the American Way (PFAW) also received substantial amounts (http://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/business/aly-nielsen/2017/03/07/soros-gave-day-without-woman-backers-246-million).

“Those donations represent just a fragment of Soros’ massive global influence,” the Media Research Center said on its website. “His Open Society Foundations have given away more than $13 billion to push his globalist, anti-American views.”

Wednesday’s protests were organized by the same group that coordinated the Women’s March on Washington in January, which drew hundreds of thousands in protest of the president.

Women attending the rally were instructed to refuse to show up for work or school as a means of protesting various levels of “inequality” toward women.

Issues the group say they are protesting for include the right to free birth control, free feminine care products and unrestricted, tax payer funded abortion on demand.
