GAETZ: ‘Why Has Biden’s IRS Purchased More Than $700K Of Ammo?’

WASHINGTON– As the Biden administration steps up it’s war on guns, U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz on Saturday questioned the administration about a recent mass purchase of ammunition.

During an interview with Breitbart Radio Gaetz pointed out that during just a three-month span – March 1 to June 1 – the Internal Revenue Service purchased $700,000 worth of ammo.

“The IRS should be people in cubicles with green [eye] shades and calculators,” the Florida Republican said. “They shouldn’t be people with guns and ammo.”

He added that congressional Republicans want answers.

“There is concern that this is part of a broader effort to have any entity in the federal government buy up ammo to reduce the amount of ammunition that is in supply, while at the same time, making it harder to produce ammo,” Gaetz said.

“You cannot fully exercise the complement of your Second Amendment rights if you are unable to acquire ammunition in your own country because your government has reduced the production of that ammunition, and then on the other hand, tried to soak up the supply,” he added.

When asked about red flag laws, Gaetz said he opposed them on the grounds that not only do such laws restrict Second Amendment rights, but also directly oppose the Constitution’s due-process protections and the judicial system’s “adversarial” set-up.

“It is as wrong as wrong can be,” said Gaetz.

STRUCK DOWN: Senate Fails To Pass Democrat Abortion Bill

WASHINGTON (Breitbart)– Senate Democrats on Wednesday failed to pass legislation that would prohibit local, state, and federal governments from preventing abortions.

The Senate attempted to invoke cloture and end debate on S. 4132, the Women’s Health Protection Act of 2022. The motion failed 49-51, as Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) opposed the motion, and it required 60 votes to invoke cloture. The legislation would prohibit government restrictions on access to abortions. Specifically, the legislation states that governments may not limit a healthcare provider’s ability to:

  • Prescribe certain drugs
  • Offer abortion services via telemedicine
  • Immediately provide abortion services when the provider determines a delay risks the patient’s health

The legislation, according to Congress.gov, stipulates:

In addition, governments may not (1) require patients to make medically unnecessary in-person visits before receiving abortion services or disclose their reasons for obtaining such services, or (2) prohibit abortion services before fetal viability or after fetal viability when a provider determines the pregnancy risks the patient’s life or health.

The bill also prohibits other governmental measures that are similar to the bill’s specified restrictions or that otherwise single out and impede access to abortion services, unless a government demonstrates that the measure significantly advances the safety of abortion services or health of patients and cannot be achieved through less restrictive means.

The Department of Justice, individuals, or providers may bring a lawsuit to enforce this bill, and states are not immune from suits for violations.

The bill applies to restrictions imposed both prior and subsequent to the bill’s enactment.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-CT)  sponsored the legislation after Politico leaked a draft Supreme Court opinion that would strike down Roe v. Wade. The Senate Democrats proposed the legislation to attempt to enshrine many of the pro-abortion protections enabled by the landmark Supreme Court ruling.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) said in a statement after the vote:

Today’s vote on the Women’s Health Protection Act is a continuation of the left’s mission to undermine the legitimacy of the Supreme Court and prop up their abortion-on-demand agenda. This bill would force states to legalize late-term abortions, remove informed consent laws, and prevent restrictions on gruesome fetal dismemberment procedures. Today, I stood up to the woke mob and voted to protect women and their unborn children.

Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), who voted against the bill, said that the bill “would disenfranchise every voter in Missouri, overturn our state laws – and give the power to DC Democrats.”

REPORT: Conservative Supreme Court Justices Being Targeted at Their Homes By Pro-Abortion Protesters

WASHINGTON (Breitbart)– Leftist activists are directing protestors to confront conservative Supreme Court Justices at their homes in Maryland and Virginia.

Justices John Roberts, Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney Barrett, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, and Neil Gorsuch are all targets by an organization called, “Ruth Sent Us.” The organization has published the justices’ supposed home addresses online for the radical protestors to locate.

Ruth seems to be a reference to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who was a ardent defender of the right to abortion. But this group’s use of her name is ironic, because Ginsburg was very collegial with her conservatives colleagues, including her best friend, Justice Antonin Scalia, and because Ginsburg criticized Roe as a bad decision, despite agreeing with its conclusion.

“Our 6-3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights,” the group’s website states. “We must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics.”

The website also asked protestors to “rise up May 8-15 and beyond… At the homes of the six extremist justices, three in Virginia and three in Maryland.” The site says the main protest is scheduled for May 11.

It is not the first time radical-left organizations have mobilized to intimidate political opponents at their homes. In September, protestors under the banner of ShutDownDC picketed outside Kavanaugh’s home to express angst against pro-life laws. In January, the same organization was also responsible for the protests outside Sen. Josh Hawley’s (R-MO) home in Virginia.

“Tonight while I was in Missouri, Antifa scumbags came to our place in DC and threatened my wife and newborn daughter, who can’t travel,” Hawley said at the time. “They screamed threats, vandalized, and tried to pound open our door. Let me be clear: My family & I will not be intimidated by leftwing violence.”

The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board on Tuesday admitted the left’s radical protestors may turn violent against the justices in the coming days. “We hate to say this, but some abortion fanatic could decide to commit an act of violence to stop a 5-4 ruling. It’s an awful thought, but we live in fanatical times,” the board penned.

The potential violence follows a Monday Supreme Court leak that revealed Roe v. Wade may be overturned. “Our guess is that the leak is likely to backfire at the Court,” the Journal continued.

“A Justice who switched his or her vote now would be open to ridicule for wilting under pressure,” the Journal added. “It would also invite more leaks in the future by showing they get results. A pattern of pre-emptive leaks of draft opinions would destroy the Court.”

THE INFULTRATION OF AMERICA: Biden Seeks to Surge Foreign-Born Voting Population Ahead of Elections

WASHINGTON–Joe Biden, through executive order, is attempting to increase the influx of illegal immigrants into the United States between now and 2024 in order to impact the outcome of the 2022 midterms and next presidential election.

In an executive order written Tuesday, Biden ordered multiple federal agencies to boost the number of illegal immigrants obtaining citizenship status in order to make them eligible to vote.

The order seeks to “eliminate barriers in and otherwise improve the existing naturalization process … [and] substantially reduce current naturalization processing times … [and] make the naturalization process more accessible to all eligible individuals, including through a potential reduction of the naturalization fee and restoration of the fee waiver process.”

Further, the order creates the “Interagency Working Group on Promoting Naturalization” which includes the Department of Homeland Security, the Labor Department, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of House and Urban Development, the Department of Education, the Social Security Administration, and other federal agencies to “develop a national strategy to promote naturalization.”

Per the executive order,  the group must submit a report to Biden within 90 days that outlines a strategy to “promote naturalization” that could include a “public awareness campaign.”

Analysis conducted by the Center for Immigration Studies reveals the extent to which state electorates have been altered by mass immigration since the year 2000. The Pew Research Center has noted, as well as a number of establishment media outlets, that these trends are aiding Democrats in their electoral prospects.

‘OUTRAGED’: Prosecutor drops charges in Jussie Smollett angering Chicago mayor and police chief

CHICAGO — Prosecutors in Chicago announced Tuesday that all charges against “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett would be dropped, sparking outrage from city officials and social media alike.

Smollett, 36, who had told police on January 29 that he was assaulted by two masked men as they shouted racial slurs and praised president Donald Trump was later charged with falsely reporting a hate crime and staging the attack himself.

“After reviewing all of the facts and circumstances of the case, including Mr. Smollett’s volunteer service in the community and agreement to forfeit his bond to the city of Chicago, we believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case,” the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office said in a statement.

City Mayor Rahm Emanuel at a press conference shortly after the decision was announced could hardly contain his rage.

“From top to bottom this is not on the level,” Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in response to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx’s decision to drop the charges against Smollett. “At the end of the day, it’s Mr. Smollett that committed this false claim.”

“This is a whitewash of justice,” said Emanuel. “Is there no decency in this man?”

Meanwhile, Breitbart reported Tuesday that left-wing billionaire mega-donor George Soros had donated $408,000 in 2016 to a super PAC that supported Foxx, whose office prosecuted — and dropped — the Jussie Smollett case.

“You have a person using hate crime laws that are on the books to protect people who are minorities from violence, to then turn around and use those laws to advance your career and your financial reward?” Emanuel ranted. “Where is the accountability in the system? You cannot have, because of a person’s position, one set of rules apply to them and another set of rules applying to everybody else.”

Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson too spoke out against the decision, saying the department was “blindsided” by the DA’s decision to drop all charges.

“I think this city is still owed an apology,” said Johnson. “At the end of the day it’s Mr. Smollett who committed this hoax.”

REPORT: Support for Kavanaugh growing, says poll

WASHINGTON (Breitbart) — A Rasmussen poll released September 28 shows growth in voter support for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
Rasmussen asked voters: “Do you have a very favorable, somewhat favorable, somewhat unfavorable or very unfavorable impression of Brett Kavanaugh?”

They report that 48 percent of voters hold a “at least a Somewhat Favorable opinion” Kavanaugh versus 44 percent who hold an unfavorable view.

There is a slightly larger divide between those who have a “Very Favorable” opinion on Kavanaugh, 36 percent, and those who view him “Very Unfavorably,” 30 percent.

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted Friday to move the Kavanaugh nomination forward for a floor vote. Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) requested a one-week time frame between the judiciary vote and floor vote in order to conduct an FBI investigation into uncorroborated sexual assault allegations again Kavanaugh.

PC GONE WILD: Facebook removes Declaration of Independence text, declaring it ‘hate speech’

MENLO PARK, CA (Breitbart) — Facebook removed an excerpt from the U.S. Declaration of Independence, claiming the text violated the social network’s policies on “hate speech.”

The Liberty County Vindicator had been uploading the Declaration of Independence in parts to their Facebook page, only for the tenth part to be removed by the social network.

The text was as follows:

He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.

He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.

He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.

He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

Though the newspaper is unsure why the text was removed, they presumed it was due to the Declaration of Independence’s use of the term “merciless Indian Savages.”

Following complaints, Facebook reinstated the post, declaring in an email, “It looks like we made a mistake and removed something you posted on Facebook that didn’t go against our Community Standards. We want to apologize and let you know that we’ve restored your content and removed any blocks on your account related to this incorrect action.”

Facebook also recently shut down a support group for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder, claiming the page violated their “community guidelines.”

“Facebook’s actions have put soldiers’ lives at risk. Guys use the page to express feelings which are really troubling them,” declared FYB UK founder and former paratrooper Alfie Usher. “They’re desperate for help. It is very hard for them to discuss issues relating to their experiences in Iraq and Afghanistan with their families.”

‘BLUE WAVE’ BECOMES A TRICKLE: #Walkaway movement to abandon liberalism goes viral

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Breitbart) — The #Walkaway movement that began with a popular Facebook video featuring a gay hairdresser in New York City explaining why he was leaving the Democratic Party has quickly morphed into a major force on social media and beyond.

According to an article last Thursday in the Epoch Times, some five million people on Facebook and YouTube have seen the groundbreaking video showing a “very handsome gay man” who describes his awakening to the inanities of liberalism and the Democratic Party. “Once upon a time, I was a liberal. Well, to be honest, less than a year ago, I was still a liberal,” begins Brandon Straka, the unlikely face of the new “silent minority” of Americans.

“I reject a system which allows an ambitious, misinformed and dogmatic mob to suppress free speech, create false narratives, and apathetically steamroll over the truth,” he says. “I reject hate.”

“These are the reasons why I became a liberal. And these are the same reasons why I am now walking away.” Straka published his original #WalkAway video on May 26, and since then his life “has been overtaken by a tidal wave,” the Epoch Times reports. The movement has been especially successful because its spokespersons have not been the sort typically associated with conservativism. Young and old, black and white, men and women, gay and straight—the campaign seems to elude stereotypes and pigeonholing.

The popular young conservative commentator C.J. Pearson, for instance, has given the movement a significant push by highlighting the Democratic Party’s racist past. “The Democratic Party is the party of slavery. The party of Jim Crow. The party of segregation. The party of the KKK,” Pearson tweeted Saturday.

“Democrats walked away from black folks long ago. Now, it’s our time to #WalkAway,” he added. It is enough to search for the hashtag #WalkAway on Twitter or Facebook to see how the campaign has taken on like wildfire, spawning an entire cottage industry of personal testimonials and “conversion” stories of how people woke up to the false promises of liberalism.

And yet, according to Straka, this is “so much more than a hashtag on Twitter.” “This is a testimonial campaign, a grassroots movement that is going to change the political landscape of this country.”

Some Democrats say they are still expecting a “blue wave” come November. If social media is any indication, there seems to have been a sea change.

REPORT: Republican compromise on immigration would allow illegals to bring foreign parents to US

Washington, D.C. (Breitbart) — An amnesty plan being negotiated by Republicans in the House will likely allow illegal aliens who were brought to the U.S. by their illegal alien parents to bring those parents to the country.

According to insiders who spoke to Breitbart News, the plan by House Republicans, which House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) is attempting to fast track, would allow nearly 800,000 illegal aliens shielded from deportation by the President Obama-created Deferred Action for Childhood (DACA) program to bring their foreign parents to the U.S.

The GOP’s amnesty plan is designed to halt a discharge petition being pushed by a group of “Never Trump” Republicans. The discharge petition would force a vote on multiple immigration bills, including some amnesty legislation that would likely pass out of the House and Senate by a veto-proof majority.

The amnesty plan, though, would allow DACA illegal aliens to bring their parents to the U.S. through a category of “chain migration,” whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the country.

Should each DACA illegal alien bring both of their parents to the U.S. after receiving the amnesty, that chain migration impact would be upwards of 1.5 million foreign nationals arriving in the country.

Americans have repeatedly told pollsters that they want legal immigration to the U.S. reduced. In swing states like Ohio and Florida, likely voters say they prefer zero immigration to current legal immigration levels, at which the U.S. imports more than a million immigrants a year.

Most recently, a CBS News/YouGov poll revealed that a plurality of Americans living in swing districts who said mass immigration has changed their communities say overall immigration is making life “worse” in the U.S. About four in nine black Americans in swing districts said immigration is making American life “worse.”

Currently, the U.S. admits more than 1.5 million legal and illegal immigrants every year, with more than 70 percent coming to the country through the process known as “chain migration,” whereby newly naturalized citizens can bring an unlimited number of foreign relatives to the U.S. In the next 20 years, the current U.S. legal immigration system is on track to import roughly 15 million new foreign-born voters. Between seven and eight million of those foreign-born voters will arrive in the U.S. through chain migration.

BATTLE FOR THE SECOND AMENDMENT: Trump faces backlash over ‘due process’ fiasco

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump on Thursday faced fierce backlash from his own constituents over comments he made Wednesday on gun control.

Speaking at a bipartisan meeting with lawmakers to discuss school safety, President Trump said he was in favor of gun confiscation without due process if it meant making America’s children safer.

“I like taking the guns early, like in this crazy man’s case that just took place in Florida … to go to court would have taken a long time,” Trump told those in attendance. “Take the guns first, go through due process second.”

The president’s comments quickly went viral on social media, outraging those who took the statement as a direct attack on the Second Amendment.

Sen. Pat Toomey, R-Pa.,said Trump’s suggestion “took his breath away”.

“I have to admit that the idea of taking a person’s property before the due process — that did take my breath away a little bit,” Toomey told Joe Scarborough on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” (https://tinyurl.com/y957huqp).

“Doesn’t work that way in America,” Toomey added.

The NRA also came out swinging against the president’s comments.

“While [Wednesday’s] meeting made for great TV, the gun control proposals discussed would make for bad policy that would not keep our children safe,” NRA spokeswoman Jennifer Baker told The Hill (https://tinyurl.com/yam4b98n). “Instead of punishing law-abiding gun owners for the acts of a deranged lunatic our leaders should pass meaningful reforms that would actually prevent future tragedies.”

Republican Sen. Ben Sasse of Nebraska also spoke out against Trump’s call to override the constitutional right to due process, stating he felt the president was being manipulated by leftist agendas.

“We’re not ditching any constitutional protections simply because the last person the President talked to today doesn’t like them,” Sasse told CNN (https://tinyurl.com/yazw5xxm).

Even Breitbart News, a media publication which has long supported the Trump agenda, came out guns blazing against Trump on Thursday. “Trump the Gun Grabber: Cedes Dems’ Wish List— Bump Stocks, Buying Age, ‘Assault Weapons,’ Background Checks,” it’s headline read (https://tinyurl.com/ybd9pjcu).

Taking to Twitter, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul (R) said that if the president’s proposal on due process were to be implemented, it would amount to no due process at all.

“Due process comes first or it isn’t due process. This is true no matter which party is writing the bills or in control of the White House,” Paul wrote (https://tinyurl.com/y9ouw46e).

Just two weeks ago, the president complained that his former top aide, Rob Porter, was unfairly forced to resign his White House position after both of his ex-wives accused him of domestic violence, claims he said at the time amounted to “a mere allegation.”

“Is there no such thing any longer as Due Process?” Trump tweeted (https://tinyurl.com/yd6l4fp3).

The president’s critics were quick to call out the president over the presumed “hypocrisy”.

“For Trump, due process is a problem when people think Rob Porter is guilty of beating his ex-wives, but not a problem when government seizes guns from citizens,” Ben Shapiro, a prominent conservative and Second Amendment advocate, tweeted (https://tinyurl.com/y9ljes7l).

Critics on the left, who have long pushed for stricter gun control laws, said if former president Barack Obama had called for a violation of due process, Republicans would have called for his immediate removal from office.

“It doesn’t seem like an exaggeration to say that some Republican members of Congress would have called for Barack Obama’s impeachment if he had ever called for taking people’s guns away without due process,” The Washington Post’s James Hohmann said on the matter (https://tinyurl.com/y8ozyrbu).

Wednesday’s meeting came in the wake of a February 14 school shooting in Parkland, Florida in which 17 people were killed and more than a dozen more were wounded.
The shooting led to calls from gun control advocates for stricter gun laws and background checks.
