WASHINGTON — Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh on Monday hit back after a second woman came foward with claims of sexual harassment, this time stemming from a party that she and Kavanaugh allegedly attended while in college.
“I will not be intimidated into withdrawing from this process,” Kavanaugh said in a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee. “The coordinated effort to destroy my good name will not drive me out. The vile threats of violence against my family will not drive me out. The last- minute character assassination will not succeed.”
