Livingston, Mt.– Margot Kidder, best known for her starring role as Lois Lane alongside Christopher Reeve in the “Superman” films, passed away Sunday, according to her spokesperson. She was 69.
An obituary listed on the website for the Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston, MT reads, “Margaret Ruth ‘Margot’ Kidder, 69, of Livingston, Montana passed away on Sunday, May 13th, 2018 at her home.”
A cause of death has not yet been announced.
Kidder, who also starred in films such as “The Amityville Horror” had battled bipolar disorder for several decades and had worked as a mental health advocate in recent years.
She is survived by a daughter, Maggie McGuane.
