NEW YORK, N.Y. — Former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell, who at one time ranked as one of the highest paid entertainers in the industry, has resorted to selling anti-Trump t-shirts online in the wake of a highly publicized career downfall.
O’Donnell, who once basked in the spotlight as host of her own television show, announced this week that going forward, she will be “expressing” her “rage and disappointment” by selling t-shirts on the internet.
“Til trump is out I will keep making these. I started doodling on my I phone many images of trump and his regime. My sadness rage disappointment will now be expressed with these pieces,” O’Donnell wrote in the description section for the online store (https://tinyurl.com/y94zqc5d).
O’Donnell’s career has steadily declined since ‘Rosie’, the daytime talk show baring her name, was canceled in 2002. Several attempts as co-host on ABC’s daytime talk show ‘The View’ also ended in failure after on-air clashes with her fellow hosts led to calls for her firing amid negative viewer response.
In 2011, Oprah Winfrey gave O’Donnell a third shot at hosting her own show, but the program was canceled due to poor ratings.
Since then, O’Donnell, who has been open about her struggle with mental health issues, has focused her concentrations on promoting leftist causes.
The ongoing feud between O’Donnell and President Trump, who she spoke out against repeatedly during the 2016 campaign, initially began in 2006 when O’Donnell, during an appearance on ‘The View’ called Trump a “snake oil salesman”.
O’Donnell announced her new online store to her Twitter followers on Wednesday.
“Get em while they last,” she tweeted.
The first shirt posted by O’Donnell, features a caricature of Trump with the words, “Rapist, Cheat, Liar, Racist, Con Man, A–hole.”
When will they deport her
