LOUISVILLE, KY — The National Rifle Association issued statement Tuesday morning in response to a cryptic billboard which seemingly calls for the killing of NRA members.
The vandalized billboard, which appeared just outside Louisville this week, says ‘Kill the NRA’ and calls for passersby to ‘Resist 45’ a reference to President Donald Trump.
Here’s an image from Kentucky, this morning,” the National Rifle Association posted to its official Facebook page on Tuesday (https://tinyurl.com/ybxcm6hj), next to a photo of the billboard. “To all American gun owners, this is a wakeup call. They’re coming after us.”
The billboard appears less than one week following a mass school shooting in Parkland, Florida which left 18 people dead and dozens more wounded. The shooting prompted new calls for stricter gun control, which anti-gun activists claim may have prevented the shooting.
OutFront Media, the advertising company who owns the billboard, has refused a request for comment.
Why not arm the teachers that want to be? Teach them about what to do in situations such as school shootings. Schools need to post “Teachers are Armed.!”” I truly believe the shooter would stop and think before entering the school.
I also believe it’s a mental health issue. We, parents, teachers, friends are
